New exhibition starting next week

If you are living in or around the city of Wiesbaden, Germany, and would like to join me for a little exhibition opening party, you may keep this upcoming Thursday in mind. The date is not final yet, but I think it's gonna be this Thursday. Details will follow.

Remains

Cagil just introduced me to this new documentary about people living at Salton Sea Lake - an abandoned area in the Californian desert which once was a flourishing holiday resort. After watching the trailer I felt like digging out another picture from this place that I haven't posted before.

This is the trailer:

Do you believe that there's treasures in the ocean?

I took this picture last October in the Crystal Cove State Park. Took me half a year until I finally worked on it and put it in the store. I hope you like it.

Japan fundraiser ending this Thursday

Okay, this is my last call to those of you guys who are playing with the thought of buying a print. If you do this by Thursday night, the profits will go to Red Cross where the money will be used to directly support Tsunami victims. Including the contribution from FotoMoto, I think I'm looking at about $300 I am able to donate with your help. Other participating photographers sold prints, too. Maybe they will tell me their numbers so we can sum it all up. The most recent chunk of money I received came from Tim and Emilia who ordered a large canvas print. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP!

Lady with Bucket

I photographed her on a Sunday morning. That was during a bus trip that went through several Cuban cities.

Photographers for Japan ends April 14!

For those who are wondering or in case you haven't heard about it yet, there is a whole line-up of amazing photographers trying to support Japan Tsunami victims. By purchasing prints from these artists, you are indirectly donating as they are taking their profits and give them to the Red Cross. More in Store

I sat down and added more images to the online store. This includes a whole new category named Bizarre which has some of my images from the Burning Man festival also some from Salton Sea Lake. Note that if you get a Burning Man image, I can only donate 90% to Japan, as 10% has to go to the Burning Man organizers. Here is an overview of all the new stuff.
