South Street Market

Having a hard time catching up with my blog while visiting New Jersey/Philly/New York. Steffi and I are all over the place and when not I’m either enjoying playing chess with my friend or with their doggy. I mean, fetch or whatever. Not chess. With the dog.
This one is from walking Philly one night. Taking off to Oregon tomorrow for road tripping down the coast – slowly approaching Burning Man.

Comes with a song with the same title:

Chinatown Philadelphia

I’m on the East Coast for a couple of days, working and enjoying the humidity 😉

Woman and Cat & Fattr Invites

Philadelphia, 2008.

Over the years the number visits to this blog increased to something between 100 and 300 a day. The statistics show that many of those visitors stay for not more than a second. Other really take their time and revisit, which is flattering. I’m more and more thinking about how to make this page more valuable to those who stop by here. Maybe you have things in mind you would like me to write about – I think reviews of photo gear are always interesting. Without further efforts, I do have something to share today. @flattr_e just sent me some Flattr.com invites. You can just grab one and sign up to this cool new system. I already charged my account with a few bucks and showed some love to artists I like.

Here are the Flattr invite codes. First come, first served:

Man with Umbrella

Philadelphia, 2009.

The larger my photo archive gets, the more fun it is to dig in it. I’m looking forward to the times when I’ll be able to post images randomly from different decades. Matt Weber is doing this. From what I know, his work – all shot in NYC – is the most impressive and interesting street photography collection out there.
